Our history & achievements
Est. in 1983, Nafal Contracting & Trading Co. LLC began its journey to provide specialized services in the Oil & Gas industry, a commitment that continues today.
Mr. Sarhan Ali Ahmed Al Sarhani took over Nafal in 1997. Nafal has grown and now offers Civil Construction, Electrical High-Tension Works, Engineering, Procurement, Construction in Water & Waste Water, Corrosion Protection, Insulation Work, Supply, Hiring, and Erection of Scaffolding, Fire Proofing & Refractory Works. Nafal aims to lead the market in its services, with 'Quality' as the main goal.
In 2005, Nafal established its Civil Division. This was a significant milestone in the company's growth, as it allowed them to expand their services to include civil engineering and construction projects. With the creation of the Civil Division, Nafal was able to take on a wider range of projects, from large-scale infrastructure developments to smaller residential construction.
In 2009, Nafal started its Electrical division. Since then, the division has grown significantly, expanding its services to include not only electrical installations, but also maintenance and repair. Nafal's Electrical division is dedicated to providing high-quality services to both residential and commercial clients, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
In 2011, Nafal began its operations in the Mechanical Division, which has since flourished and expanded its reach. The Mechanical Division caters to a wide range of mechanical engineering requirements, including design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of various industrial equipment. With the advent of new technologies and innovations, Nafal's Mechanical Division has been at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge solutions that have helped clients to improve their operational efficiency and productivity.
In 2012, Nafal was fully governed by QMS and received ISO 9001 certification. This meant that Nafal met the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), specifically for their ISO 9001 quality management systems standard. The certification demonstrated Nafal's commitment to meeting customer requirements and continuously improving its processes.
In 2017, our company was involved in a major project for Oxy, which required the execution of water and wastewater infrastructure work across all the business units of Nafal. The project included a variety of tasks and challenges, such as identifying suitable locations for the infrastructure, acquiring necessary permits, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing the construction process from start to finish.
In 2021, Nafal received ISO 14001 certification. ISO 14001 is a globally recognized standard that outlines requirements for effective environmental management systems. This certification demonstrates Nafal's commitment to reducing its environmental impact and improving sustainability practices. It reflects the company's efforts to operate in an environmentally responsible manner and to comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
